EASTERN ROSELLA CHICKS DAY 28
First peek out at the big wide world
Day 28. I won't be able to open the lid on the nest box any more as this morning I saw a little head poking out of the nest box hole, it was one of the chicks having his first look out at the big wide world. I also ran the video hoping to see it moving, but all I managed was to get a faint blur of wings through the hole, and the sound of beating wings (if you look really hard you will see something). So I guess it won't be long before there are two little faces looking out. I believe they are out of the box at day 35, so not many days left now.
